Five worlds of Japanese and Chinese decent have quietly formed a plan to claim independence from the Eurasian Solar Union (ESU). These are unhappy with the Russian dominance of the ESU. They have quietly been gathering old warships and refitting them with new weapons and systems. Also, they have maneuvered key people into the ESU chain of command. Quietly, it has been made known that if the forces of the Dragon Spirit Worlds can stand off the 1783rd attack group, they will be ignored (not granted autonomy, but not brought under submission).

Unknown to the ESU, the DSW forces have "acquired" two experimental Wave Cruisers on a raid of the Moscow III research center. These Wave Cruisers will be quite a surprise to the 1783rd.

The game area should be about 4x8' (2 long tables side by side). The DSW player may place a planet (6" diameter) on the board anywhere on his side and 5 asteroids anywhere on the table. He must setup his ships within 2' of the planet. The ESU player will enter on the far side of the table at a velocity of less than 6.

Specail Rules: To attack the Planetary forces, they must enter orbit.

Notes:
Cygnus Eclipsers developed this ship for the ESU. The ESU after reviewing the
ship decided that production cost was too high for its capabilities. The ESU
only took delivery of the 4 prototypes, as mandated by the contract. The ESU
declaired the contract complete. The ESU discovered the folly of this decision
when the Dragon Spirit forces stole 2 of the 4 prototypes in their bid for
  independence.

Notes:
Cygnus Eclpsers developed this ship to close escort a fleet of cruiser or larger
ships. Built to imitate the ESU Nanuchka I corvette in outward apperance. It is
designed to protect larger ships from fighters and missile attacks. With a crew
of 4 officers and 10 ratings and a cost of only 500MUcr, it is cheap enough to
purchase and employ in suffecient numbers.
