Every holo field seemed afire with the burning white light
of plasma spheres.
"Sir ... We've lost TVC 15, BDR 15 & JFK 09 also
destroyed."
Good men and good ships, all lost.

This can't be happening. No it can't. This excercise was
ment to a training, a simulation. And some fool had turned
it into a live fire excerscise. Had Robertson gone mad?
"Commander?"
No it can't be happening I'm less than a year out the
academy and now I'm in the middel of a full blown war.
Saints perserve us.
"Sir . . .!?!"
"Ensign, bring arm all weapon systems on line ... and
see if you can't get those fighters back on course will
you."
True we had destroyed NCC-1701, but only after we were
forced to return fire once those spheres proved their
devestation. Well we're far from crippled now, let's see

SNT: Zeus, Excerpt from Admiral's Log
Aboard the bridge of the Zeus, flagship of the Interstellar
Republican Worlds taskforce Draconis;
Admiral Robertson peered at the holographic recreation.
Cursing under his breath about his brother's Nova Cannon, a
grim smile slid across his face. Only one path was available. Tapping the comm he ordered, "All
vessels.
"Rotate 60 degrees starboard and engage a flank
formation burn. Brace for impact"
The sudden thrust slammed him back in his command couch
before inertial compensater asserted itself. Hopefully,

Talk about shooting fish in a barrel. I've got to hand it to Adm. B.
Robertson. I don't think I could have set up a better duckshoot if I'd had
personal control of all three fleets. He deserves some sort of special
