With survivability comparable to the NSL Von Tegethoff and firepower comparable to the ESU Komarov, the Neu Breman class has served admirably in a dozen conflicts. Introduced in 2181, the Neu Breman will undoubtedly serve for at least 15 years, serving as admirably then as it does now.

It is designed to fill two roles. Home defense (where resupply is not a problem) and hit and run. Critics of this design note that is it slow compaired to the Foch and that its primary weapons carry ammo for just 3 salvos. Proponents point out that the 6 SML's provide unparalled firepower (enough to take out any ship) and improved protection. The class name derives from the 7th plague against Egypt in the book of Exodus, the Plague of Hail.

Just as the Der Theurdank class is derived from the Von Tegetthoff class SDN of the KFR, so the Country Class is derived from the Tsar Class SDN of the RHN. The Country Class is intended to form a significant part of the RHN's wall of battle, whilst utilising the RHN's great strength, its fighters. Proceed to Blue alert at first sight, and be ready to jump if hostile.
