This game will use the DS2 rules and a set of House Rules for Ogre conversion to DS2. The game will pit an Ogre force against a conventional force of armor and infantry. For those unfortunate enough not to be familiar with Steve Jackson's original war game OGRE, the basic game pits Infantry, Tanks, Missile AFVs, and Artillery against a single armor unit. But that unit is an OGRE. The odds are about even. OGREs are huge armor units designed to survive multiple direct nuclear strikes. OGRE main armament are tactical nukes. For this game, I am not using the DS2 stats for a nuke, but the OGREs are still deadly. OGREs are for all intensive purposes indestructible. Individual weapons or drive units on the OGRE must be targeted if there is any hope of stopping these monsters. When you sign up, please indicate if you want to be on the Human or OGRE side. The OGRE side will require a minimum of 1 player and a maximum of 3.
